Al
Barker’s interest in carpentry began at a young
age. His father was a carpenter and Al started working
in carpentry when he was a teenager and has been working
in the industry ever since. Al went to college for construction
education and management. He moved to Rochester in 1977
and for eight years worked for a contractor in home construction
and concrete work. From 1985 to 1990, Al worked as a
foreman for a custom home contractor and did all the
company’s concrete finishing. Al founded his custom
home business in 1990 as a carpenter and contractor.
Al Barker perceives himself as a
designer builder and contractor. He likes to be involved
in the design phase. Al applies his years of construction
experience to help design a home with a sound structural
design as well as a personal and unique feel. Because
he has always been a builder carpenter, Al is knowledgeable
of proper construction methods and pays attention to
all the details from start to finish.
Al’s enthusiasm and desire
to provide a great home and building experience to
all his clients and his history of building a quality
product and customer service is testimony to his success. |
